Queensland Wind and Brass, under the baton of Alisa Jones, showcases the energy, emotion, and excitement of beloved music from film and stage. From sweeping movie themes to Broadway showstoppers, this program features music that will entertain, inspire, and delight audiences of all ages. A celebration of imagination, drama, and musical storytelling - this is an evening not to be missed!

The cafe and bar will be trading, so enjoying the concert with a meal and a glass of wine. Please note that there is no BYO food or drinks, just bring your own picnic blankets and enjoy music under the stars.

New Year, New Beginnings (February 2nd)
The start of a new year always brings a sense of fresh beginnings and exciting possibilities. 2025 is no exception, and it's off to an inspiring start! Last year I restarted my teaching journey after exploring other ventures; this year I have been fortunate enough to secure a second school - Sophia College Plainlands - as well as continuing with students at Faith Lutheran College Plainland.

As we embark on this new chapter, it's the perfect time to reflect on our goals and aspirations, both personally and professionally. Whether you're looking to learn a new skill, take on a new challenge at work, or simply focus on personal growth and well-being, a new year provides a blank slate to write your own story. I aim to embrace the opportunity to set intentions, create positive habits, and take steps, even small ones, towards crafting the kind of year and life I envision for myself and I hope you are able to join me on this adventure.
